Two things on in Oslo this weekend:

The Southern Cross Club will have a picnic on Saturday 09 June at Hovedøya – Klosterruinene – 11.05 ferry from Vippetangen.

And this info has gone out to the aussie.no mailing list (from Simon): Since the weather is forecast to stay good all weekend, we thought it might be good to meet up at Frognerpark this Sunday afternoon 10th June for some food / drink / kick of the footy (if we can find/make space) / whatever. From 2pm, aim for the Majorstua side of the monolith somewhere.

Next "organised" pub get-together is on Thursday 5th July: 

We meet at Forest & Brown, Niels Juels gate 31, for a chat/chinwag over a coffee, beer or whatever you fancy on the first Thursday of every second month from 5 p.m onwards (5th July, 6th Sept, 1st Nov). BUT - the location and times may change later, so check up occasionally.

The different Aussie gangs in Oslo tend to meet at the Shamrock in Grünerløkka, Lorry in Parkveien (at the top end of the palace park), the Belfry in Lille Grensen, the Dubliner in Rådhusgata, and, most recently, Forest & Brown at Niels Juels gt. 31. Actually we have a lot of trouble agreeing on a 'common' meeting place.
